Cabo Roig diving & snorkelling

The little rocky coves around Cabo Roig, Cala Aguamarina, Cala Capitán and Cala La Caleta, are among the best spots on the Orihuela Costa for snorkelling straight off the sand, over rock formations and a Posidonia seagrass meadow that is protected under EU law.

Cala Capitán is especially prized for its clarity. Two local PADI dive centres, based in La Florida and Playa Flamenca, run courses and guided dives along this coast, with visibility often between ten and eighteen metres.
