Villamartín is the course the whole urbanisation grew up around, a mature par-72 of 6,132 metres in play since 1972. It hosted the 1994 Mediterranean Open, won by José María Olazábal after a play-off, and still draws golfers from across the Costa Blanca.
The signature hole is the par-3 17th, a tree-lined carry of around 200 metres to an undulating green. Off the course, Villamartín Plaza next door keeps the nineteenth hole busy well into the evening.
