Car hire

While the area is walkable in parts, a hire car makes the most of it: the beaches, golf courses and shops are spread along the coast, and a car keeps each of them a short, easy drive away.

The simplest option is usually to collect a car at the airport on arrival, so you are mobile from the moment you land and avoid arranging transport later.

If you would rather not drive every day, the area is well served by taxis too, so a car can be a convenience rather than a necessity.
