A car makes the most of this area, and every major international and Spanish low-cost firm operates at both airports. At Alicante that includes Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Sixt, Enterprise, Goldcar, Record Go, OK Mobility, Centauro and Firefly, with desks in the arrivals hall and cars collected just outside.
Murcia–Corvera is similarly served. Booking ahead is worth it in the summer peak, when the popular categories go early.
