Official taxis wait at regulated ranks just outside arrivals at both airports, and Alicante’s rank runs around the clock. Airport fares are metered or set by the regulated tariff, so a licensed taxi cannot apply surge pricing.
Local taxis serve Orihuela Costa and the surrounding resorts, and a number of private-transfer firms run fixed-price airport runs. With any taxi, confirm the fare before you set off rather than relying on a quoted figure.
